Durability starts with casting which is one of our core hand making processes. Unlike an automated moulded (which is also likely to contain air bubbles or uneven density) mass-produced substitute, our 100+ handicrafters cast MgO manually to create each item. With so many years of experience in creating the interior and exterior furniture, they could control the rate of pouring and the pressure of the mould as well as the allocation of the material to acquire the compact and even structure. The weak links, holes or thin spots are removed by this manual Quality Control, which makes the MgO base impact resistant, cracking and bending proof against, and important when the product is weight-bearing, like fireplace mantels or garden chairs or may be affected by accidental impacts.

In our production lines we have artisans who look at their product at each stage; casting, polishing and finishing as compared to the automated production lines in which errors can enter. To test structural stability (e.g. pressing fireplace frames to test flex) they test manually, finish adhesion, and test dimensional consistency. This physical check gives a guarantee that only products of our quality of reliability will come out of our modernized workshops- as per the international certifications (RoHS, CE, CAS) our fireplace inserts and furniture bear.
